FAQ
What Are “Waifu Cards”?
Waifu Cards are collectible trading cards featuring fan-created art of beloved female anime characters, commonly referred to as “Waifus.”
The male equivalent is “Husbandos.” These cards celebrate the creativity and passion of the anime community, offering unique designs and interpretations of characters from various series.
Some Waifu Cards come from unofficial sets sold in booster packs, such as “Goddess Story,” “Senpai Goddess Haven,” or “Maiden Party.” Other cards are sold individually without the element of chance
and are often called “DIY,” “Custom,” or “ACG” cards within the community.
Waifu360 was created not only to showcase some of the more “cultured” (lewd) cards but also to provide a searchable database where users can find cards by character or series.
Please note: These cards may contain NSFW and explicit content. This site has an 18+ age restriction.
Are Waifu Cards Official?
Waifu Cards are typically considered “Doujin” products, meaning they are fan-created and unofficial. While licensed cards from official trading card games (TCGs) can also be categorized as Waifu Cards if they feature female characters, the term generally refers to fan-designed cards.
Due to the NSFW nature of some cards, most Waifu Cards would not be approved as official merchandise.
What is “Goddess Story”?
“Goddess Story” (女神物語) is a popular, unofficial collectible trading card series from China, launched in mid-2020 by the company Little Frog (小青蛙).
With its rapid rise in popularity, “Goddess Story” has become a generic term used to describe any brand or set of Waifu Cards, similar to how “Google” is synonymous with web search engines.
This broad usage can sometimes be confusing, particularly for newcomers to the hobby.
